Uncle Wong was born somewhere in the New Territories, Hong Kong sometime in the mid 20th Century. He is the mythical, charismatic, sometimes strict, but ultimately kindly figurehead for his nephews and nieces who run the British Chinese Society (www.britishchinese.org.uk). He has been asked to write the official blog for the BCS to keep him occupied in his retirement. Besides there's only so much tai-chi you can do every morning
